Color Palettes and Standards
- Color plays a powerful role in defining the Kettering brand – that is why it is so important to consistently maintain color standards. Color theory research defines what colors mean to prospective recipients of our communications. Kettering blue connotes strength and stability, and conveys a sense of trust. Our Kettering gold suggests a vibrant, regal institution. The approved color palette goes beyond Kettering blue and gold to include many complementary hues to be used in various print materials.

Typography
- Brand appropriate typography is critical to supporting and maintaining a consistent, strong Kettering brand. Selection of type should work to present a clean, contemporary organization that is resolute in its mission and moving forward with its strategic vision. The font portfolio offers an assortment of classic, crisp serif and sans serif options for a variety of uses within a strong, visually cohesive brand infrastructure. The official University font is Berkeley/Berkeley Old Style.
